1. Take Control
   If you want to show confidence you need to be willing to take control in certain situations. For instance, if your date would rather you choose the restaurant you should move forward and do so. Ask for her input, and from there take control to show that you are confident in yourself as well as your decision making ability.
2. Avoid Overconfidence
   Offer information on yourself but don’t go overboard. If you talk about yourself too much you are going to be seen as overconfident, and maybe even arrogant. This is not the aura that you want to give off. There is nothing wrong with talking about your past, your career, etc. Just make sure that you don’t go too far.
3. Eye Contact
   From a physical perspective, make eye contact when talking. This alone is one of the best ways to show self-confidence. If you don’t look at your date when talking what is this going to say about you?

With the three tips above you will show confidence without being arrogant. This may not be the way you usually operate, but there is nothing wrong with making a change. Remember, most women want somebody who is confident but not so over the top that they seem cocky at all times.

Once you become comfortable taking control, making eye contact, and learning how much to talk about yourself, you will be seen as a confident individual with a lot to offer. And that is what women want, right?
