First Date Tips

First Date

Planning a first date can be difficult. This is especially true if your date does not have any input. Of course, there are some places to go on a first date, and others that you want to avoid at all costs. Once you know what you are doing you can plan the perfect night on the town.

Where to Go

  1. Out To Eat
There is nothing wrong with going out to eat. The nice thing about this is that you can sit across the table from your date and get the chance to know her over a nice meal and some drinks (if you want). When the check arrives be sure to offer to pay for the entire things. This is the right thing to do.
  2. Be Interactive
Anything interactive is something to consider. This includes everything from a sporting event to an amusement park. Again, you want to spend time speaking and interacting with your date, and this is easy enough if you are having a good time.

Where not to Go

  1. Don’t Go To The Movies.
Many guys think this is the perfect first date, but nothing could be further from the truth. How much time will you be able to spend talking as the movie is playing? The answer is none. The movies may be a good date in the future, but not your first time out.
  2. Stay Away From The Club!
Again, this is something you may want to do in the future with a group of friends, but not on a first date. There is entirely too much noise, and as you can imagine, getting drunk on the first date is not recommended.

There is no reason to stress when planning a first date. It is normal to be nervous, but don’t stress over choosing a destination. Do yourself a favor and opt for a nice meal or a fun activity in which you and your date can comfortably interact.

Going out to eat is a great idea, but there are some messy foods that you may want to avoid. You don’t want to head somewhere else after dinner with spaghetti sauce on your shirt. lol

    Cheers!
